Move beyond the patterns that survival created.

EMDR helps the brain process experiences that continue to feel emotionally stuck so you can move through life with greater clarity, connection, and freedom.

You’ve worked hard to keep going. EMDR can help you move forward.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic technique that is used to help individuals process and work through traumatic experiences. EMDR works by using bilateral stimulation, which involves alternating visual, auditory, or tactile stimuli to help activate the brain's natural ability to process and heal from trauma.

EMDR can help in several ways, including:

  • Reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression

  • Resolving trauma-related issues

  • Improving self-esteem and self-worth

  • Enhancing personal growth and resilience

Overall, EMDR can be an effective therapeutic technique for individuals who have experienced trauma and are struggling with its emotional and psychological effects. By working with a trained EMDR therapist, individuals can work through their trauma in a safe and supportive environment and begin to heal and move forward in their lives.

You’re ready to embrace a brighter future.

What is emdr?

Rewiring patterns shaped through trauma, stress, and survival.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process experiences that continue to feel emotionally overwhelming, unresolved, or "stuck." EMDR is recognized as an effective treatment for trauma and other distressing life experiences and is used worldwide to support healing and recovery.

Rather than simply talking about difficult experiences, EMDR helps the brain integrate them in a way that reduces emotional distress and allows new, more adaptive beliefs to emerge.

UNDERSTANDING WHY YOU STILL FEEL STUCK

You may already have a strong understanding of your struggles. You know where your anxiety comes from, recognize patterns in your relationships, and can often explain why you react the way you do.

Yet despite that insight, you still feel stuck.

You may find yourself returning to familiar patterns, feeling overwhelmed by emotions that seem larger than the situation in front of you, or struggling to create the changes you want despite your best efforts.

This can be frustrating, especially when you have spent years working to understand yourself.

The reason is often that difficult experiences are not stored only as memories. They can also be held in emotions, beliefs, body sensations, and nervous system responses that continue to influence how you experience yourself, others, and the world around you.

EMDR helps the brain process and integrate these experiences so they no longer carry the same emotional weight. As healing occurs, many people experience greater emotional flexibility, reduced distress, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of connection with themselves.

Clients often describe:

  • feeling less emotionally reactive to past experiences

  • responding differently in situations that once felt overwhelming

  • experiencing greater self-compassion

  • feeling more connected to themselves and others

  • spending less energy managing old wounds

  • experiencing a greater sense of freedom, flexibility, and choice

That's because EMDR isn't focused solely on symptom reduction. It's designed to help the brain integrate experiences that continue to shape the present.

My approach to EMDR therapy

I believe meaningful healing happens within a foundation of safety, connection, and collaboration.

EMDR is a powerful therapy, but it is not about pushing through painful experiences or moving faster than your nervous system is ready for. Together, we work at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable while honoring your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

My approach is informed by advanced training in EMDR, trauma-informed care, attachment, and nervous system healing. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and EMDR coach supporting clinicians through basic training, I have the privilege of working with EMDR from both a clinical and educational perspective.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a PhD candidate researching resilience and trauma-responsive systems. This ongoing research continues to deepen my understanding of how people heal, adapt, and create lasting change.

Whether you are navigating the effects of trauma, chronic stress, perfectionism, burnout, or relationship patterns, my goal is to help you move beyond survival and toward a greater sense of connection with yourself, your relationships, and your life.

What would change if you no longer had to spend so much energy surviving?
